I don't have any firearms. I'm sure that will cause them to search for a long time, then shoot me for failure to come up with some for them to take.


Seriously though, they won't come to your door. They'll request you turn them in first, then request again, later, with incentives (a bit of cash or a tax break, something like that.) After those tries, they'll start penalizing you with higher taxes and fines, until you give up.

They won't bother starting a fight with armed people, they'll just make it so you have to give up in the end, because you don't have the economic resources to fight.

Eventually, if they believe you are hiding weapons they'll take away your drivers license, impound your car, and do a hundred other things until you can't survive anymore.

A few will fight, but most will actually just hand the weapons over in the first few years.
