Perhaps we antipodeans are transmuting all the filthy energy the northern hemisphere emit.
For me Americans are either decent,very intelligent people (maybe a little too decent) or angry, belligerent and mostly ignorant people who will go into a rage state at a drop of a hat.

Naughtily I quite like baiting those ones.
I've lived in both NZ and Oz, and I sort of prefer Oz, although I'm living in a really great little town in NZ outside the mainstream of civilization.
People here are just lovely, and crime is virtually zero.
Only a bunch of would be gangstas who've been tagging, and irritate the hell out of locals.
Aussies have a great sense of humour (difficult for outsiders to penetrate) and are really laid back and decent, a lot of them.
Both countries have bastards and idiots of course.
Northern hemisphere people come across as cold and very conventional and rule bound, but I've noticed that some of them develop severe colds or flu's and seem to readjust to local conditions if they stay long enough.
As for being under British influence, and part of British culture-theoretically yes, practically no, as a lot of people here either ignore official reality and/or subvert it.

Some Australian women are really fucked in the head. These cunts come from Frankston the worst bogan place in Melbourne.

I agree with OP. At least here on GLP they are pretty rude, I observed it myself, it's very strange indeed. They are very angry, all the time, very different from the sane and cool people of GLP. Not saying that they aren't kind in real life.
