One statement describes Australians and their culture-"Small Man Syndrome", Australians have one of the worst subconcious inferiority complex's you will find.
They constantly feel the need to tell the world how great they are, all the while hoping to convince themselves this is true;pick up ANY Australian newspaper or watch their television to see my point.
What upsets me is that Americans think that Australia is a great place and it's people are so friendly; Australia does have nice scenery, but so does Guantanamo Bay!!! I feel bad telling my American friends that Australia as a culture is EXTREMELY Anit-American.

PLEASE understand people, Australians in general are only nice to people from other countries if you are telling them how much you love Australia... To prove my point, next time you meet and Australian do not mention Australia and see how long before they bring it up, then simply reply "It has nice scenery but I prefer my country" and just watch their reaction, they will walk away very soon after.

Any Americans considering Austraila for a vacation-I strongly suggest you visit a different part of America and experience a greater variety of scenery and wildlife, all within close proximity and saving yourself THOUSDANDS of dollars. Take a 2week vacation every year for the next 5years rather than a 1off 2weeks in Australia

If you actually came to Australia and met some real Australians you would realise that you are living in a country that is not the greatest country on earth, not by a long shot.
And you are the worst losers on earth.
Your country is being controlled by outside forces and by the time you wake up it will be too late.
So instead of bad mouthing Australians take a look in your own back yard and open your eyes.
