I have allowed Marijuana to ruin my life. | |
| Mordier L'eft User ID: 29792223 12/19/2012 01:32 AM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | that's just what I'm saying...attack their precious weed, and they encourage suicide. it's a demonic drug because it's so subtle..quit the dope. Even moderation leads to addiction, you notice the difference when you completely stop for a few months, however. You sound like the 'dope' here bud. You couldn't enjoy marijuana in moderation so you want to project your anger and demonize others who can and do enjoy marijuana in moderation. I understand, you are butthurt about it. ok so whats your moderation? if you smoke everyday, yeah you got a drug problem, no matter what the drug is. once a week, once a month? why not just quit? what do you buy? ...one dime every week? your mistake is classifying marijuana along with actual drugs like cocaine and heroin. that's like comparing apples to AR-15's... --"In this era of great big brains anything that can happen will. | krosty Working Class User ID: 15571780 12/19/2012 01:42 AM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm diagnosed poly-substance dependent, so I'm basically addicted to being fucked up on anything. Addiction is purely biological. The brain is a machine. Some brains are genetically designed to enjoy being fucked on drugs more so than others. There are some people who hate having an altered state of mind even to the point of refusing to take pussy Vicoden while in intense pain. Physically dependent means physical withdrawal (alcohol, opiates, benzos). All drugs are physically addicting to the predisposed because the brain is pysical. Willpower cannot overcome a physical ailment. You cannot will away cancer or MS. You can use willpower in an attempt to carry on living despite a dire fate, that's about it. So you didn't allow marijuana to ruin your life. There was nothing you could do once you tried it; who hasn't done that. My only advice is don't try anything else. |

If you need mind altering substances to live, then maybe you are an inferior human being. Don't get me started about flora abusers. Did you know that aspirin supposedly derives from willow tree bark? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26678936 Onward with this first sober day! Ok been one month, since my last bong pipe and joint. I was just the same smoked every day for 23 years. I stopped cold turkey. No withdrawals no shakes not even a hint of wanting some weed. My sleeping pattens are getting back on track my eating habits are good. I no longer have the little cough, I feel 100% better and looking forward to a much healthier life, Granted i never bought dope I have all ways grown enough for 12 months supply. I gave away over 2 pounds to a friend. If you want something bad enough JUST DO IT. nothing is stopping 11:11 |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 27667491 12/19/2012 03:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | i wish you luck OP look at all the pothead deniers what does it say about someones life that they need to get high? recreational use is different, the occasional evening, but every day, in some cases, all day? you have a problem its not the pot itself, although it probably WILL mess with your head, eventually, to some degree it could be any addictive, MOOD ALTERING substance. aside from anything else, it renders you unfit to do a bunch of stuff, much like booze it will be fully legal eventually, and with that, you will be paying tax on it |

| Master X User ID: 21369442 12/19/2012 04:22 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Sure... it's the marijuana, because everyone who smokes abuses it the same way you do, right? Wrong... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26471566 The problem is within you - watch, quit smoking marijuana and I assure you that it will be replaced by drinking or some other habit forming behavior. You ruined your life, marijuana did not. Take responsibility This dude hit it on the head. It's all in your head. I wouldn't go so far to say you ruined your own life though. Sometimes shit just happens to you and you don't know how to deal. Habit forming behavior then begins with ANYTHING that takes the edge away. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 15988211 This ^^ It's not the weed that's made you like this ...you'r just hiding behind it. Good luck with stopping though :) which is probably why the title of the thread is I HAVE ALLOWED... the guy isn't blaming the pot.. he's saying HE has abused it. |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 30225033 12/19/2012 04:43 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | cannabis isn't the problem bro I know I smoke a lot of weed because it makes me feel better, I have back pain, I have depression from social anxiety. The weed doesn't make me less antisocial but it sure does make me feel better about being myself. just like alchohol, the key is moderation. if you can't stand life, it's not the weed that makes your life unbearable, the weed makes an unbearable life more tolerable. so the truth is that you need to get to the root of your problems in how you live this life. Get some therapy or a good friend to talk to who wont judge you and who might give you some advice or a new perspective on how your living. the problem is you cannot understand yourself easily. Other people looking from the outside may see things about yourself that you cannot see. People have this crazy ability to be oblivious to things about themselves that other people see as obvious. Once you realize the things you hide from yourself you may be able to face them and understand why you are the way you are and then you can take steps to change your behavior, your habbits, your thought patterns. change your mind man. It's easy, and it's hard. |
