Yup... Every other day now there is a new thread from a poster posing as a marijuana smoker and trying desperately to portray marijuana in the worst light possible... A few days ago it was an individual who had 'destroyed his body with weed' and reporting he felt like he had 'lung cancer', saying he wasted hundreds of thousands of dollars on weed by the age of 26...

All these threads are bullshit. Same individual or group of individuals trying to drum up anti-marijuana sentiments.....

Glad to hear your life is ruined. Why not put an end to your misery?

ok so whats your moderation? if you smoke everyday, yeah you got a drug problem, no matter what the drug is. once a week, once a month? why not just quit? what do you buy? ...one dime every week?

all i said was that if you abuse weed by smoking it way too much, it can ruin your life and i gave an example. how in anyway am i telling people not to smoke it, that i dont like it, or in anyway encouraging people that its bad? I am so offended that someone with such a weak will power told me too fuck off. I am so sad, that the person who cant control something as simple as weed is bad mouthing me.

My moderation is one bowl a day - I don't even smoke it all in one sitting... An ounce lasts me approx 3 months. I held the same corporate job for 6 years straight while smoking everyday AFTER work. I never smoke in the morning and never smoke & drive or before I have to go out and get things done. I have quit smoking before for job interviews and never experienced any significant withdrawal symptoms whatsoever. I plan on taking a break from smoking in another month or so and am not worried about stopping at all - I've done it before with little difficulty.

The issue with most smokers who abuse marijuana is that they are trying to recreate that initial 'high' they experienced when they first started toking. So they smoke more and more thinking it will recreate the effects that they once experienced. More is not always better. Too much frequency or too much volume can be debilitating and counterproductive. A few tokes can be uplifting. My opinion is that people need to smoke less per sitting overall. Saves you $$$ too.

If you are smoking weed constantly please consider that you may be self medicating an underlying illness, which will re- appear when you quit. Excess "withdrawl" symptoms, esp. if they do not resolve in three weeks, should be viewed with suspicion.
