Absolutely correct as usual Strongman!! Great post. Same thing has been applied across all mass media since the 80's with predictable societal and personal results. Garbage in, garbage out. The media is dominated by people hostile to common sense morals, beauty and truthfulness.

They have fed people garbage media for so long that people have developed a taste for garbage. A tv show or game without sick, perverse, dark, compromised characters or humor would be dismissed as uncool and corny. They've tricked people into thinking this is what people chose rather than what was marketed to them by the handful of companies that control everything that ends up on tv, movies or video game consoles.

Keep up the great posts Strongman!!

your post is the summary of what I am trying to say here.

Don´t let them talk about "guns". Make them talk about VALUES and REAL THINGS to PROMOTE VALUES in our society.

I see the US people as our beacon of Freedom. So I hope you stand up and defend our global freedom since you are at the center of the Empire. You can do more than all the rest of us.

This is for you ac 9952754:

yes, the problem is within

people have increasingly become desinsitized to violence and the pain of others, they are becoming robotic and inhumane, incapable of empathy

the problem is a de-evolution of man, of children raised like feral animals without the handling and humanizing presence of parents and grandparents during the critcal years...instead they are raised in front of violent boxes and raised by other children

Brazil went from being a moral country (when I lived there in the 60s and 70s) to a country where Xuxa was teaching first graders how to do the "bottle dance" within a space of ten years

It went from a place where most crime consisted of purse snatching at worse, to one where traficantes and their employees kidnapped people who simply left their car windows open driving home on a warm nght

and the whole way the media was helping plant these images of the new 'normal' of extreme violence and loveless relationships
