I am retired officer from nearby state and won't be going to Texas now that Ive seen what they consider so routine they film it. There is always a percentage of officers that end up in prison for color of authority violations. The Terry "pat down" frisk for weapons means objects that are hard and can be used as a weapon. The officers never had a fear of weapons in this case. If they wanted to do an administrative search at jail they would have begun with the field sobriety test, made an arrest, impounded the car, searched the car then to protect the contents (and found the marijuana the officer wanted so bad.) Instead both officers are using the War on Drugs claim to satisfy their sexual gratification.
The rape by instrumentation (digital)will still be a felony rape charge. The women know if they offer any resistance they will be beaten or killed, and if they survive arrest, instructions will be given to allow their rape at the jail. When you carry a gun as a government representative you have to follow the law or you will be charged by the US attorney and your fellow officers can't defend you. When it goes to Civil Trial all the other victims will come forward, and our taxes raised to pay the judgement, and police protective services reduced.
The fact that the officers did this so routinely tells you it is an everyday part of their patrol. No thought to spreading infection from back to front, and person to person, and if they encounter a hymen, that must be the object they seek, so force your way on in, and add another million to the law suit. Police have a higher standard to uphold. They are not free to just pull over women and prod their anus and vagina after proclaiming, "I smell weed."

So, he claimed he smelled weed. But, he later says it is because the car smelled like cigarette smoke?
