Women Cavity Searched at Texas Traffic Stop

You'd think after what happened at Sandy Hook we could stop the cop bashing here for a while? Cops put their lives in danger by running towards the sound of the gunfire, and they saved more kids from being killed by that maniac.

including this retribution threat:

Worse than "unreasonable search", this was cruel and unusual punishment.

Lets face it, if you are a stoner and driving your car, you would have to be pretty quick and limber to shove your stash in your ass or snatch when pulled over by the cops.

Treated like cattle on the side of the road for nothing more than a cigarette butt out the window. What ever happened to just getting a ticket? The alledge smell of pot does not warrant sticking your fingers up someone's ass on the side of the road. Both of those Troopers should be fired and the bitch who did it should be tried for rape.

Know your rights. You don't consent to a search. Police are trained to be persuasive, and that's how they get these searches. Just say no idiots when they ask to search your car.

I think the only recourse we have is to sue the police departments doing these things.

I"ve been a victim of the "cig out the window" trick on the west side of Houston. I'm blond, female, and was coming home after band rehearsal, after midnight.
I was stopped without cause three times that night. They couldn't see the man sleeping in the passenger side until they stopped me. The first two waved me on.
They called a rookie up the road close to home. He set up to watchn me coming in. A friend of his in a pick up pulled in front of me, tossed a cigarette out his window, and I was pulled over.
The rookie said I tossed it. I wasn't smoking, and had run out of cigarettes.
He made me get in his police car. Really. I was straight and sober. He kept checking around and took my purse out of the car and dumped everything on our car's hood.
then, after he couldn't find anything better to do, he wrote a ticket for bs. turns out, the ticket was a goof he had made with a previous driver, and he had to do something with the screwed ticket. It took a frickin year to get it dropped.
I'm sure it much worse now. I try not to drive at all if I can avoid it.
