In the 60's I lived on the north side of Chicago and there was a "John Birch" society member who lived in a house a block away from me. There was a cop in a patrol car sitting across the street from this guys house 24/7 for several years. My Dad said they JBirch society was against the Viet Nam war and that's all I knew about it.

Dad was a proud WWII vet and a hard working blue collar elevator repair man. He hated the war in Nam war too, and told me he would rather pay for me to flee to Canada before going to die in a war he couldn't figure out the reason we were fighting (sound familiar?). We lost a close family friend in Viet Nam and I've been friends with quite a few Nam vets, even roommates with one and his wife during college.

The government has been slowly turning the screws against us for a long time. Local abuses of power are either more frequent, or because of increased access to information we're more aware of them. I believe it's the former. Abuses of power are going from the international, then national and down to the local level more and more every year.

I hate when people throw their butts out the window or just toss them on the ground too. I've seen people do it while walking into a church. But doing it while not in a high fire area like the city or suburbs is in no way a crime that warrants a cavity search. In public none the less, even if the officer smells some pot. If they want to go that far, arrest them, bring them to jail where they can do it properly and do the sanitary thing and change gloves. The way the cop did what she did would be considered illegal public sex if it were between two "civilians".

You can reasonably say the officer was endangering the women's health and even their lives by exchanging body fluids the way she did. Outside of the fact that a public display of a sexual act, because that's what it was, could easily cause an accident with passing drivers watching two chicks getting fingered on the side of the road by a cop.

The city of Warren Ohio have been busted doing this a couple times too. Pulled a black guy out of the car and gave him a FULL cavity search with a LEATHER GLOVE.

Keep it up filth, watch what happens.

Oh believe me. Now that this has come to light there will be hell to pay.

I live in Texas and have a daughter and son in law who are both officers. I showed them this story and they said that those troopers WILL go to jail and the state will pay a shitload of money to those women.

The video is the smoking gun. The lawyer for the women will have no trouble showing how the unsanitary procedure of the search put the women in "grave risk" of an incurable disease (aids) and violated their constitutional right to unreasonable search, since nothing was found in the car to warrant "reasonable suspicion".

THey are toast. Just give it time.

They claim that a female trooper, Kelley Helleson, used her fingers to search their anuses and vaginas — using the same latex glove — while on the side of the road in full view of passing vehicles.

Many police think they are above us peons. I understand there are many good police that go into that job for the right reasons, but they are taught, or eventually develop on their own, an "us versus them" mentality. "We are the POLICE, and they are the faceless, nameless, and likely criminal PUBLIC."

Most all militaries of the world, when going to war, will seek to dehumanize their enemy in some way, making the troops see the people they're fighting as somehow less than human, so these troops will be effective in their jobs and ideally won't have mental issues/conflicts/hesitations related to killing/controlling them. It seems the police have adopted this same concept, perhaps unintentionally, but it's pretty clear in my mind that most police don't view members of the public as real people with real lives, real thoughts and real feelings that they should be concerned about.

Every person they pull over, every person who calls in for help is a potential "perp" and it's the cop's job to throw him/her in jail. Hell, even if they don't find what they need for a charge they're probably sure they're criminals anyway but the evidence just isn't there at the moment.

In my "punk rock" days it was called "The Shocker". I won't go into details, but look up the band L7. There's a hand sign for it.
