All the storms coming in to the west coast, are missing the south west? We have an early and wet rainy season this year.

Green Bay, here. The Great Lakes are at near record lows. If we don't get significant snow this winter we will be at record lows. Water evaporates then comes down as rain. Who is getting all our water and why are they getting it and not us? I know there are countries who have had record rain fall. The weather patterns are changing. Is this being steered or natural?

Is it steering and NOT natural and anybody that wants to know can find out . This information is every where out there on the net. Go get it and find out before the net is scrubbed or closed.

This is what mystifies me. All this water and it does NOT get to us here.

There allegedly was an atmospheric RIVER that ran into California and the west coast then then..........where did it go?......why didn't it proceed to us in the southwest????...it just plain fizzled out and why????????

bcause they didn't want us to have any water here.

The normal procession would have been for it to coming on eastward and to US but it didn't, did it?...no!!!

NO this is wrong!!!!!!!!!!!

When they STOP spraying chemical trails preceeding a front and then nothing happens I might change my mind.

but......I am telling you that from MY OWN FRONT PORCH DAILY AND REPEATEDLY I OBSERVE THE CHEMTRAIL SPRAYING AHEAD OF A RAIN FRONT AND THEN NO RAIN FALLS..........

IF THE SPRAYING STOPS AND THEN THERE IS NO RAIN..........

I MIGHT CHANGE MY MIND.

I AM TELLING YOU THAT ALL THIS BULLSHIT/HOGWASH CRAP ABOUT THE CLIMATE CHANGING IS JUST A LOAD OF PURE UNADULTERATED BULLSHIT.

STOP THE CHEMICAL SPRAYING AND LET NATURE TAKES IT NATURAL COURSE INSTEAD OF TRYING TO MANIPULATE IT.........

AND THEN I MIGHT ......LIKE MAYBE........LIKE ALMOST .........LIKE MIGHT CHANGE MY MIND.

BUT WITH ALL YOUR INFLUENCE ON THE COURSE OF WEATHER WITH YOUR CHEMICALS......THERE CAN BE NO ASSURANCE OTHERWISE THAT THE DEHYDRATION IS AND IS AND IS DEFINITELY CAUSED BY YOUR INTERFERENCE WITH CHEMICALS AND YOU EXPECT US UNWASHED LOW LIFE SHEEP TO JUST ACCEPT IT AND BUY INTO IT AND BELIEVE IT.

BUULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLSHIT.

THAT IS JUST PROPAGANDA

Re: Drought Warning Already for New Mexico for Next Summer....This Is Serious
Let me tell you how dire it is here.

Every year I would go to the farmer's market in Corrales.

I would buy the most lovely and heavenly honey that is called "PURPLE SAGE HONEY". It is ONLY here in ABQ, NM......and NO WHERE ELSE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD.. It is the most awesome.....most heavenly, dark and lusious honey on earth. I am a honey lover and have tried and tasted many honey's from all over the USA. This honey is remarkable and outstanding...and you CANNOT GET IT ANYWHERE ELSE.

This past summer I went to the Farmer's Market to get some more as my supply I used up and to my dismay.......there was NONE. I talked to the bee-keeper and asked why??????? and he told me .........he almost CRIED that there was not enough rain/water and the bees didn't make any.

I asked when they might make more and he didn't know.

I challenge you to find this honey anywhere else in the entire world and you will not find it.

This honey is the most primo..........most desirable and most costly honey you will ever find and now there is not any due to drought here.

I was just devastated to know there was none.

I was very very thifty and sparing with my prep supply that I had bought and I still have some in preps that I will enjoy when the fat lady sings and we all bring out the big stoggies for that last final wooooooooooray. I have just saved it and I am so glad I did.

Yes...by the ship loads full and for years. We (the people) don't sell it...it is the .gov that sells it ...and has been doing so for years from the great lakes.

And we have been fracking for years and years.....draining our water into the earth.......and the .gov hoarding it for themselves underground in their cities.

The next wars on the surface of the planet will be about WATER.

It is already coming to fruition right now........speculating on "WATER FUTURES" UNDER THE GUISE OF WEATHER FUTURES.

USA is going to be in big trouble too. My local rural radio stations are talking about water wars along the missouri river.

You got the ranchers, who absolutely need water for livestock. You got produce farmers who need water to grow vegetables. You got the rivermen, who absolutely need water to move up and down the Mississippi.

Then you got the folks switching sides, who need water too, but not as bad as the ones above. (row crop farmers, recreation/retail industries)

Then you got the railroads, who are going to win no matter what. Warren Buffet owns railroads. He sang a victory song in chinese to the chinese after the keystone pipeline got shut down. forcing all the canadian shale crude to be shipped on rail, to china.

On the local news right now...........a little bit of rain/snow is coming tomorrow morning. They are touting the big winds but then in the afternoon all will be gone.

I would estime that we don't even get a half inch of snow which equates probably to less then 1/16 of in inch of actual water/rainwater.

If this thread is still alive tomroow morning I will report the outcome.

Thanks to all that participated in this thread today and thanks again for the pin.

Love to you all but my suggestion is:

prepare

no matter if you are in a drought area or being flooded with rainwater.

Prepare because your food is going to cost you an arm, a leg and your first born in the coming months.

Blessing and prayers to all.

Goodnight.

July Crop Comments:

[link to www.agweb.com]

7/4 - Montgomery County, Mo.: Corn is cooked/zero.

7/6 - Greeley County, Neb.: Dryland crops are gone. Was hoping for some rain so they would make silage. But haven't gotten any. We have only had 0.41" since June 1 and 2.25" since May 1. Pastures are gone and have had to start feeding cows. The first two cuttings of hay were less than 20% of normal and it doesn't look like there will be a third. Trying to decide if I should sell the cows or spend $40,000 on hay.

7/6 - Summer County, Tenn.: Hot and dry. Corn crop was already in bad shape before last week, but the triple-digit temperatures really have finished it off for good. Everything is burnt up.

7/4 - Southwest Nebraska: Dry is an understatement around here...it's just plain miserable. We have only had 5" since Jan. 1, nothing over 60 hundreds in one shot. It's been anywhere from 95°-114° every day for the past three weeks, with dry south winds. Most of the dryland corn is burned up and not tall enough to make silage. Irrigation wells are struggling to keep up, some guys are abandoning irrigated fields to save others. Even the milo doesn't look like it's gonna make it. Surprisingly the dryland beans are still optimistic about a rain, they are holding on but not growing. The cow situation is dire. The pastures never greened up this year and our hay crops are only a third to nothing of normal. Massive culling will expand soon. The wheat crop was fair if it was on fallow ground, otherwise it was a federal crop claim. This is the first year in a long time that we are not harvesting wheat during the Fourth of July, the only problem is all the festivities are canceled because of the high fire danger.

on and on and on.

map of heat records broken in june 2012:

:june2012heat:

I feel bad for those who live in cities as i had lived in some rather large ones. And I know there will be many very good people that will suffer from food doom. I wish every person could live on 2 acres in the country. Life would be more pleasant for all. I cant say what works for all but i am blessed to have 2 acres and good ground. What has worked for me wont work for all but i like to share what I know.

I plant my corn and pumpkins and cabbage and black beens in the same plot . 10x15 foot plot. I work in straw from the chicken pen and mix that with rabbit turds from winter. once it all starts growing i surround each plant with straw from the chickens coop again. By this time the veggies are stronger than the weeds. i have LOTS of weeds. But my veggies are all growing like there on steroids and they are all heirloom. Not sure why the big fuss about weeding..never seem to hurt my crops for the last 16 years. Spread my corn stalks and you will see daisies and other wildflowers growing with my beens and pumpkins and corn etc..

peas-cucumbers-cherry tomatoes-sweet peppers-jalapeno peppers-lettuce-radishes-squash-onions-carrots are all growing in some type of container with a mixture of rabbit turds, chicken coop straw and topsoil mixed together. Get creative with vining vegetables so they can climb up.

For meat I have 3 pretty does and one lucky buck that likes to f---. Lots of meat and fertilizer. We have 8 laying hens with 1 duck that lays also. 2 roosters and 9 young hens. We get 6-9 eggs every day.The duck is the most reliable layer and the biggest egg. And NO duck eggs dont taste different unless you feed them different from chickens and mine all free range.

2 pygmy nubian goats that we milk for the moment. And belive me that when your milking 2 goats it becomes your drink of choice.Because there is so much.

But even I rely on others feed for the goats rabbits and chickens in the winter.

Planting your veggies in pots is the best way for small families.

Have fun people.

yep....country girl here!

this is another thread i did during that same time period, great commenter tips and ideas:

Thread: Help the Birds and Animals in this HEAT!!!! Bees and Butterflies too!

i'm reading in other threads about birds dying, and i want to ask GLP'ers to do one tiny thing.

please, it is a simple thing that can help and/or save them.

PUT WATER OUT! please try to put the water in the shade and give it enough space from home that the wild ones feel comfortable.

edit to add butterfly advice at top of thread:

Just finished putting out "banana goop" and made a mud pie.

Re: Banana goop. Don't throw away ripe banana's. Peel them and place them inside a plastic bag. Smash them, but leave a few chunks. Scoop out the banana's and smear them on the trunk of a tree. You will not believe the butterflies, bees and hummingbirds that will flock to this delicious and easily digested "nectar." Sure, the ants will come, but they clean up after the other creatures.

Re: Mud pie. Scoop up a mound of soil and wet it. Spread it out like a pie. Butterflies love a wet mud pie on a hot day. You might want to do this at the far corner of the yard. You can also do it with sand. Just keep it moist, and the little creatures will land and cool "their jets" before take off.

Thanks to everyone who has given them water, food and a safe place to hide from predators.
 Quoting: AC 1560850

edit to add:

Good thread!!! Thank you to all of the Animal lovers!!!

I leave trays of water out every day, and I use a big round metal fire pit tray as a watering trough. The Animals LOVE it! The Raccoons come at night to use it, as well as a couple of Opossums, and even the occasional Owl. During the day, Squirrels, Lizards, all kinds of Birds and any other stray animals use it to quench their thirst.

Insects need water too, and we make sure that there is plenty around for them too. We even make sure the Slugs stay moist and watered.

We get lots of Butterflies, and we give them sugar water. For some odd reason, Butterflies are attracted to me, and I have many times fed them sugar water from my hands. It is sooo cute seeing them unfurl and stick out their straw like tongue to suck the water, then fly off once they get their fill.

There is a Yellow Jacket Wasp that comes almost every time I change the water. He buzzes around me all curious, but has never stung me. He must realize somehow that I am the person who provides clean water, so he leaves me alone, then as soon as I am done, he swoops down for a drink. Even the smallest of Animals and Insects are fun to watch, and knowing that I am helping them out makes me feel good. I even make sure to rescue any insects who get caught in the water.

Instead of throwing away old fruit, I throw it in the yard, and it is always gone. The wildlife appreciate it.

I am happy to know that there are others who cares for even the smallest of creatures!

Hugs and kisses. People don't seem to understand that we are all in this together no matter where we live...every thing is connected and effected by why happens to others.

I am an avid gardener and I am worried about next summer about how to keep the plants/veggies alive.

This past summer they plants were just stunted in their growth.

I planted Better Boy tomatoes and they ended up producing little tomatoes that looked almost like large cherry tomatoes.

We have now just a about three more months before we/I try again to raise a summer garden.

Pray for the survival of that food source.

And don't forget those of you that intent to do aquaponics and/or raise fish.........the heat is going to get that too unless you are very very vigilent.

YES we have to help ALL the animals and provide WATER for them as they are being dehydrated too......

and put out food and there is NO food for them.

I put out a loaf of crumbled up bread last weeek. EVen before I walked away there must have been nearly 100 sparrows that swarmed onto the feed.

They are hungry and they are THRISTY.

PLEASE HELP ALL THE ANIMALS THAT YOU CAN.

DON'T THINK THEY CAN PROVIDE FOR THEMSELVES ANYMORE.

THEY NEED OUR HELP JUST AS EVERYTHING ELSE THAT IS LIVING NEEDS HELP.

PLEASE HELP THE ANIMALS.

LEAVE WATER BOWLS OUT ALL OVER FOR THEM....EVEN THE STRAYS.

The lakes are being pumped out by a foreign owned water bottling company and a lot of it is being sold to china in container ships...you will find info on this on the net.

I recall when I use to live in Green Bay that they at one time speculated that there was a hole in the lake and it was draining underground...remember to that the Niagara escarpement comes thru this area/.

I live in the Pacific NW and we are not having drought. Here in Central Oregon we are having lots of rain, mild winter so far, just had a couple of inches of snow.
Fortunately, our area has one of the best reservoirs of water anywhere.
I lived in Albuquerque for a couple of years a long time ago and loved it there. It was very extremely then, and I would drive over into the Sandia mountans to "smell the chlorophyll"...
But I do understand about the chem trails.
However I am a little puzzled, because our area is blasted with chem trails all the time, and yet we still have rain.

God bless you. I hope you get the water you need.

OP we are here, reading your thread, with great empathy. Just posting to let you know you are not alone, and we do care very much. Many of us do not do a lot of posting--just like to see what is happening.

Hugs and kisses.

Perhap the difference is the chemical composition.

Or.......perhaps if they had not sprayed there you would have literally been flooded away.........

but out here .........when they spray.......we DON'T GET ANY WATER........ cry, cry, cry. We need water here....badly

Yes..........when REAL rain comes...the smell is so sweet and awesome.

I recall when I moved from ATLANTa, Georgia......it would rain there but I could not smell it due I guess to pollution but when I came out to NM in 2007........I distincty recall going out side and saying to a neighbor "what is that smell" and she told me it is rain!!!!!!!!!!!!111 I was smelling RAIN for the first time in many many years.........imagine that!!! smelling the sweet smell of clear, clean, pure rain.

I am not smelling that of recent.
