This who charade we all just witnessed was guaranteed that gun rights as we currently know them are on the way out the door. This is a fact. Even the most pro-gun politicians can't say shit in the face of over a dozen murdered first graders. I personally believe that the incident was staged, and for just this purpose.

If nothing else, people will see the current gun laws become more restrictive. Semi automatic weapons and assault rifles purchased by private citizens will become a thing of the past. Penalties for failing to register your weapons will be increased. Loopholes enjoyed by those who prefer to buy their murder weapons at gun shows will go the way of the dinosaur.

Sorry card carrying members of the NRA, but you are about to lose some benefits.

And this will just be the beginning. After laws change with regard to current sales, they are going to retro this bitch and start confiscating weapons. Those who refuse to surrender theirs will either end up in jail (sans weapons) or dead (because they thought their puny AR was a match for the government's arsenal.)

In the end, the social unrest caused by the culling of the guns will cause the implementation of martial law, and we will all end up in FEMA camps.

All because some stupid conservative idiots had to have weapons capable of discharging 100+ rounds per minute.
