I am a single parent and I own guns just in case I need to protect myself and my son from dangerous people. I dont keep my guns locked up. I am sorry for whatever happened to you. I had a cat do that to me once and it wasnt pleasant. Defecation issues in any species is related to control issues. Most challenged adults who are reared trusting those that care for them have very little need for control. As a matter of fact I have to force my son to take control most of the time.
