Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28832234 I always thought the stories were fables. Now I believe them! Yep . My backyard is the northern Ontario wilderness so that argument don't fly with me. I've lived up north now for 6 years after spending 40 years living in the city. Though I've come across bear and moose while out hiking, I feel much safer here than I ever did walking in Toronto. |

It could have easily flown off with a kid that small. Awesome... funny too, but awesome! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27352798 The parent took a LOOOONNNGGG time to react, must have been lost in thought. I know, he took FOREVER. Plus, why didn't he pick the child up and carry him over to his little bed instead of leaving him alone so the eagle could pick him up a second time? Dad needs to jump start his adrenalin. His reactions SUCK! |

If the bird had gotten a better grip it would have probably had the ability to lift the kid pretty high up. That child is very lucky he only went up a foot or two. That's crazy though, I never would have believed something like that was possible. Now I'm sure birds really have snatched up twirps and carried them off, never to be seen again. |
