I read that one victim had been shot 11 times. That struck me as very odd for someone with a semi-auto rifle. Even if his aim was impeccable, that's a long time to stay on one target. And if it was so close that he couldn't miss while pulling the trigger 11 times, then I'm assuming while he was focused on shooting that one victim up close, others could have spilled out and ran. Otherwise if he actually landed 11 hits, then how many were misses? Assume at least 5. So that's more than half a magazine on one person.

Maybe they need to justify keeping the caskets closed. I'm going to guess and say there was no open casket to be found in the funerals.

Actually no. A semi automatic can be single or three round bursts legally. That's not very accurate sleuthing on your part

that doesnt close the possibility either. i know there are gadgets for simulating a burst as well on a semi-auto. besides, i think youre wrong. i have never heard of that. nice way to shut down the thread, though.

it sure does seem strange. and yes, the bodies would show fairly conclusively if it was automatic fire. the 11 shot one could be a slip into full auto.

Under federal law, 3 round burst is still considered full auto. It means you have to fill out federal forms and get a $200 tax stamp to legally own one.

Any rifle that fires more than one round per trigger pull is more heavily regulated than a standard 1 round semi-auto.

What the fuck? Now it's 3? I watched the news two days ago with the doctor who looked at the bodies (I don't know what you call him), and he said there were at least 11 wounds in each person. The guy made it sound like bullets rained everywhere.

This story is full of shit. I can't follow it anymore. The facts keep changing every day.
