I agree. I have a little bit of throw up develop in my mouth every time Piers talks! Can't stand him. He is so incredibly rude and disrespectful.

It's amazing how many times I have heard friends call another an idiot for thinking assault rifles are necessary. This is because I lean very to the left in some cases and consider myself somewhat libertarian blah blah blah but when it comes to guns and the 2nd amendment, people who know me, are shocked how far "right" I am on this issue.

It is not an issue of whether or not I need such a gun or not, it's our right as Americans guaranteed by the Constitution that we are not to be infringed upon in gun ownership. Maybe I need rifle as a store owner or want one as a shooting enthusiast, who the fuck are you to tell me what I can and can't own, and to have the nerve to try and have the government use violence and oppression to enforce your moral belief?

A ban on guns is nothing more then another prohibition. With alcohol we all know what happened. With the war on drugs, we are losing, and spending trillions while millions of lives are being destroyed. With guns? It can only be worse.

Create an entirely new underground criminal element WHILE empowering criminals to rob and murder. If I'm addicting to drugs or have children to feed and no money and I know I can get a gun for about $100 bucks and the percentage of a law abiding citizen having a gun is very low, well I just found a new source of revenue didn't I? Now if gun laws allow everyone to carry and guns are apart of the culture, well I know there's a 50/50 chance the person I try and rob is gonna shoot my ass and I'm not gonna try it.

Guns are tools that should only be used to protect yourself or your loved ones. Gun laws create a predatorial environment where criminals can do as they please and I am a little bit sick of people attempting to paint gun owners (I DON'T EVEN OWN ONE) as nothing more then mindless rednecks who just want their toys to play cowboys and Indians.

I can say this, there's a lot of evil out there. We do not get the luxury of living in a perfect world, and I plan on arming myself in the future to protect my family.

Everyone is missing the point: if you are being accousted by someone who has a high capacity (magazine) in order to survive you do not have time to re-load; likewise, if you are being accousted by large numbers of criminals; YOU DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO RELOAD; THUS, the absolute need for AR-15 ASSAULT RIFLES..!

To PROTECT their rights from a "government" that TAKES their rights when criminals commit crimes! Can't you SEE that?


And the reason that I said "so-called assault rifle" is because the rifles being used in these shootings are NOT "assault rifles", which, by definition, are FULLY AUTOMATIC.

Your police and military, THEY have "assault rifles". Yet these libtard idiots don't even want us having semi-auto rifles. They want us to be at the mercy of body armor, fully automatic machine guns, and directed energy microwave weapons, with us have daisy Red Ryder BB guns to defend ourselves with.
