Apparently Lanza went to great effort to destroy his home computer before going out to murder.

Why?

I mean, what in the world does a mass-murdering child-killer have on his computer that he would not want revealed?

Like it would make him look worse than he already was?

Doesn't make any sense why he would smash his hard drive. These kids usually always want to make some point.

My guess is he's been with his handlers for 3 years and they're the ones who smashed that hard drive.

I lived in Catonsville, Maryland at the time, and
the mental institution there, Spring Grove,

I have a cousin that is somewhat "off the grid", in the sense that we think he has some type of depression or some other mental issue. It really is not discussed by the family and he's just labeled "weird". After high school, he just basically stayed in the house and used the computer. However, he is very friendly and will talk at family functions...

BUT,,,just this morning on HLN news (yes, the one with the super hot Robin Meade..), it was reported the police have confiscated Adam Lanza'a computer, BUT, are unable to retrieve any info because he smashed it. Seems very odd because as we know, there is technology that can recover info from a smashed hard drive, in most cases...even after a fire. Plus, if he was on the internet to any degree, you can't hide that footprint. Your internet provider can track your internet prescense.

It seems they are erasing all info that could shed light on the real Adam Lanza, or where he has been for 3 years...

I just would like to know how Adam had his brothers ID on him when apparently they haven't seen each other in years? Was it an old ID then? You would have to think so since it seems incredibly unlikely his brother was without ID all that time. And what form of ID was it? And why didn't his brother realize it was missing?

And also why would someone who apparently was intent on making himself known to the world smash his computers to bits to prevent people for discovering who he really was? If that chan site posting is legit he seemed determine to become famous so then why would you want to limit the amount of info about yourself? Wouldn't you want the media to be reporting on everything they could for as long as they could to build up your so called legacy? He's ok with killing kids but not with the world knowing what sites he surfed or online games he played etc?

This is a good point, and even with him being a social outcast, and completely reclusive doesn't mean that it's why he went crazy.
There were periods in my life, when I just refused to participate in society at all. From 19 to 21, there was no Facebook, and most of my highschool friends had moved away, I had no bank account, suffered from major depression, and basically left zero footprint. I wasn't medicated though, outside of self medicating, I rarely left the house because of the extreem anxiety that I was suffering with. Then from 25 to 27, I went through the same agoraphobic mess from before. I'm not trying to draw parallels between me and this person, I'm simply saying it has nothing to do with his lifestyle. If he truly just lost it, after being invisible for a while, I'd be more inclined to believe it was the medication he was on. I was medicated for my agoraphobia a few years back, and after the two week trial period, I honestly felt like I was losing my mind. The stuff they give to some people after only two sentences to a new doctor.. it is mind blowing. Some of these doctors don't even really know the patients. He seems like he was fairly normal outside of his social phobias, and lack of a footprint. You guys shouldn't look to hard into this, it really does take away from the fact that he probably just lost it because of his meds, and couldn't come back from it. But to blame the lifestyle is stupid. I lived that life for long periods, and I never once wanted to hurt a fly. Some folksjust have that switch in them. Most do not though, thankfully...

Good points here all around. Maybe the kid did just snap, maybe it was meds. Never hurts to ask questions though especially when there is so much conflicting info, I've heard some news stations still days later reporting different amounts of guns used and guns owned by the mother etc. In that piers morgan interview with the GOA guy, they said she had 6 guns, 4 of them assault rifles, the other 2 the handguns he used. If thats true then where did this shotgun in the trunk come from?

um what records would there be of a guy who sits in a basement playing video games all day...I bet there's a bunch of dudes on glp who've been in their mother's basement for years that you can't find recent "records" of...if you don't pay bills, don't drive, don't see a doctor what records do you folks imagine there would be?

There should be a trail on that.. they can claim the pc was busted, but they can still trace every person who's on the phone lines/cell phone and all computer activities, where they go, what sites visited.. So unless he had been in a comma for almost four years and somehow woke up on Friday.. that don't add up either.

Bottom line - I don't believe Adam Lanza killed anyone. There is NO proof that he killed anyone, he's been framed as far as I'm concerned. It's a more likely scenario that a small hit professional hit team, of the type involved in the Aurora and other mass shootings, broke in his house, shot him and his mother, dressed him in the clothes, went on a rampage at the school, and dumped his body with weapons. This would account for the other shooters/mystery men seen at the school that the media has ZERO interest in pursuing.

The media coverage of this has been as clean as a whore's ass, and I think Lanza and his mom are probably innocent victims of US government professional killers who need patsies to blame their crimes on. They always pick strange, isolated young men who would have few if any friends to stick up for them, or evidence that would show that they wouldn't do this stuff.

It's disgraceful how this kid has been treated by the captive media. He's another Lee Harvey Oswald.

The fact is there are many strange things about this mass shooting. One does not have to believe it is all 'fake' or all 'real'.

You totally gloss over the possibility that the girl is, in fact, dead. This is, in my opinion, more disturbing than your conclusion. Why? Because they dressed their younger daughter up in her older sister's dress for a 'photo op' with the president. How is it that we even can assume that it is her dress? Because, of the few pictures the media had of her, she was wearing it.

That in and of itself is strange. Of the few pictures we have of the family, that dress is in two of them. Aren't they pretty well off to live in that town? How improbable is that?

And that is just one of the weird pieces of odd about this shit sandwich.
