What's the MOON look like tonight where you are?

The moon has disappeared here too. Maybe it's cause of that white stuff in the sky.

i cantsee the moon, as i live there.

it looked small and bright white through the trees here on the west coast

The "normal" bowl here in Michigan!! Jk. What's wrong with it?? Thought it was suppose to be a rare thing even in winter which it's hardly been winter here for the past couple years!!!

yes the Moon did disappeared around 11pm dec 18 2012 i was going north on hwy 27 with a friend as we seen the moon real low in the sky and reddish it started to disappeared from top till it was all gone in minuets i call a friend in Jackson MI around 11:45 he seen the same thing happen. did NOT look like the normal moon phases at all.

It had an apparent tilt due to field rotation. It happens to everything in the sky everytime they are up. The phase calendar you linked has no idea when you are looking at the Moon or where you are observing from so it can't show you how much apparent tilt you might see.

A few hours earlier when it was higher in the sky and it would have appeared upright as on the phase calendar. A few hours before that when it was rising and it would have been tilted the other way with the lit part at the top.

Normal cresent moon around 7pm in Apex NC. U shaped cresent when I got to Winston Salem, NC at 9pm.

I saw it at 7:35 pm when it was high in the sky and I was looking south. It was in a u shape at this time already. I live in southeast Mich

in fl too i was on my way home today and glanced up and saw it, seeing it during the day not a big deal. but for some reason it looked upside down or backwards or something. i dunno it didnt look right.

on the 16th of december moon looked abnormally large!! very bloodish and bright in colour and it disapeared for a bit... DOOOM ON!!

The moon did this about a month ago as well. I am on the west coast of FL, and cannot find anything about what has happened to the moon. This is not a normal phase of the moon, it is U-shaped tonight and last night, I'm sure many other nights, too....

I've been watching the news, too. The moon was headed down I-4 here in FL and I suspect something is not right. I also noticed the clouds were carshing.

Cloud here,but the other night i could swear that the moon was coming upfrom a west northwest crazy or what.

Seems to be quite noticable here in western FL the past few days huh?

...just went outside and the moon right now is bigger than usual AGAIN and blood red AGAIN...
