I dont want to spoil a good thread but didn't this get recorded around the time of the meteor shower? It did indeed look like a green streak across the sky. I am not sure what the red thing is though... a thought crossed my mind of illuminated plasma or even a reflection in the window.
remember... eliminate the obvious and what you are left with, no matter how impossible it may seem, has to be the truth.
