Once I was filming a Cathedral here in Copenhagen with one of my friends. When we had finished I started laughing and slopped my gob off to him about that I can't understand why anyone can believe in this sort of crap. I't was then that I got my eyes on a young girl who was praying. She lifted her head and she looked at me with tears and hurt in her eyes. Wow, I suddenly felt so bad about myself, that I couldn't think of anything else that day. Lots of us say all sorts of things on the glp, and never say sorry cos we can't see the hurt in each others eyes.

I personally believe there is a God, but I came to the realization that I can't know for sure. In fact, I can't know anything for sure.

This means I can't know for sure whether Christianity is truth or a lie. However, it is my honest belief that religions as a whole are twisted interpretations of mankind that have significance only in their ability to change people... (for the better or worse, depending upon your perspective)

If God truly is the representation of love and mercy... (and I sincerely hope he is) He will understand why I cannot force myself to place blind faith into the writings of men, even if those men claim to be inspired by God himself.

My experience with God is when I got to the end of myself HE was there. In a way I will never be able to describe expect that it was total Peace and Love.

It was the worst and yet best time of my life.
