A few years ago I receieved a letter from Verizon (my carrier) stating that my cell phone was not GPS compatable...Meaning it had no GPS located inside of it..
I had a Motorola Startach phone...
I ignored the letter...Thinking I don't really want you to know where I am...
A few months later the same letter shows up in the mail...
I ignored it again. I really like my phone and don't want to get another phone...
A few months after that I turned on my phone and it no longer would get a signal...it had been disabled....now forcing me to buy a new phone which by now all cell phones have GPS...
I have mentioned this story to many people over the last two years and many said they and many others they know still don't have GPS phones....
MY question is....was it because I bought a gun or got a carry permit?
Why did someone want to make sure they knew where I was?
Anyone else have this happen?
