Maybe they were on Nancy's case for a long time about Adam needing help or to be committed to a psychiatric hospital, but she refused to do it, so mom and dad got divorced and Ryan cut ties because she refused to get Adam the help he needed. She wouldn't cut the umbilical cord and they had enough.

I would think that Peter Lanza will claim Adam as soon as the media disappears. Peter Lanza seems like a decent man.

I would think that the best choice would be cremation. If Adam is buried, the media will be all over the cemetery.

I know a really decent family whose 23 year old son killed his girlfriend and then himself. Just horrible, but they did have a viewing at a funeral home. I went. This guy and his family had so many friends that people waited in a long line down the sidewalk. At first I heard that he was in an unmarked grave, but that could have changed. This family was so wonderful...I felt so badly for them.

According to the media, Nancy divorced in 2001. The father started dating another woman in 2010.

This is supposedly the last time he and Adam spoke to each other. Adam obviously had a problem with his step-mother.

So why wasn't she a target if he flipped out? Why did he instead go to a elementary school?

My husband hates his mother so much, I don't think he would spend money on burying her. But we don't have millions like that family (they must if she was getting a $200K a year alimony payment). Some people are VERY estranged from family, though.

Gotcha. I didn't know that. The media keeps saying he was jealous of the students at the school, which is why he went after them, but jealous of WHAT? I don't get that. You're right - if he cut ties with his dad because of a new girlfriend, it's weird that dad and step-mom weren't targeted at all.

I was under a lot of stress during my second pregnancy, and my daughter has always been wonderful. A sweet, beautiful, vivacious, and happy child.....she's the same now that she's an adult. If I could have cloned her, I would have had five more kids. lol

Sounds to me that during the course of thier marriage they discovered they had a disturbed child.Dad and big brother baled on both of them and they were left to take care of each other cuz it wasnt thier problem they had a sick child/sibling. You see treated in death as in life.

I read that Adam had a "falling out" with about 6 teachers at the school the day before the shooting. One of the teachers stayed home from school the day of the shooting. I'm still waiting for her to talk and tell what the problem was...that's if the media was correct about Adam's visit to the school.

It says:

"Colbrun says it's still not clear whether Nancy Lanza brought her son to the range or whether he ever fired a weapon there."

They would not identify what shooting range. They said that they could verify that Nancy had been there, but were not clear weather Nancy brought her son.

I have seen other stories that say that there is no record of Nancy or Adam going to any gun ranges in the area.
