assuming Adam Lanza is a real person, i am assuming this
might be the reasons why he became what he became..
not trying to find an excuse, but trying to light up the "why".

- mom + dad divorced, family split in 2 - Ryan+Peter and Adam+Nancy.
- mom a prepper (maybe that´s why the divorce?)
- maybe made fun of his looney mum at school
- prepper mum surely does not help finding a girl friend
- became lonely and a looney, tried to find his niche (like gothic/satanism whatever, so many young people do!)
- being treated with psycho-meds because he was told to be a looney like his mum, too

so he grew up in a difficult situation, mom always scared about anything and prepping for it, brother+daddy went away cause they can´t stand this life in fear any more ..

all in all, i do not think this guy needed meds in the beginning.
who would not become difficulties with his personality and in believing right/wrong with such a mum, him being young at age and having to cope with "normal life" as everyone else around him is living the sheeple-style?

i think you somehow _must_ develop a psychotic condition due to this split reality he was forced to cope with, but this could have been treated with information and talks.

giving him those meds all made it worse:
no understanding, but him being treated as a weirdo like his mum, whom he for sure gave the fault for his miserable life (divorced parents, split family, problems finding friends ..and on and on..).
killing his mum sounds "logical" to me; but then he somehow snapped - due to the meds - and killed those children.
