| Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 30305597 12/19/2012 10:06 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Very strange because I've seen fruit, cheese, milk, and bread prices go through the roof in my area. I know I'm not in the UK but usually if it rises in our area it's MUCH high in the UK. Weird. Quoting: Kissplash yes, that's why its weird. The prices were very high, they keep rising, but these goods were reduced with the special yellow stickers they put on when something is at the end of its shelf life, except that they were nowhere near the end of their shelf life. |

I haven't seen anything discounted which first wasn't at full price here in Florida, so I'm just guessing they're catching on its cheaper to go have a full Christmas meal at Golden corral for 12.95 each, all you can chow down. | Anonymous Coward User ID: 29271249 12/19/2012 03:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Its only 19th December today but there were so many perishable goods reduced in price, Christmas type goods such as cheese selection, berry selection. In date and could be used at Christmas. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30305597 I find this strange since shoppers would buy those at full price right up to christmas eve. it's probably radioactive... | phoenixe User ID: 29789169 12/19/2012 04:07 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | why stock up on food for christmas, when the world ends the friday before? ;) maybe that is the reason. maybe "they" realized so many people can´t afford christmas shopping any more, and instead of then throwing away they reduce the food beforehand. did not see any widespread reductions here. nothing unusual. |
