The Klan were the extremist arm of the Democrat party in answer to Abraham Lincoln's Republican party and freeing the slaves. Most Democrats do not know that truth and do not want to know it...They prefer to change history. There were many black politicians in the 1800s that were Republican.Do your own research and come out of your slave masters political party.
