Mass Air Flow Scensor. Look around the air intake, for a round housing with a wire, or a hose to it. Slap or tap it hard a few times. If it makes an effect to the perfomance, it needs changing.

Is your battery fully charged? Use a multimeter and check. If the ECU in your engine doesn't see a full 13.7 volts it won't functional correctly.

I love when the car "experts" turn a simple issue into a fucking college course in car mechanics.

I've fixed many different types of cars for years. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to fix a car.

Construction workers do this same shit, make their job sound difficult to make themselves feel smart. Most can barely tie their own shoelaces.

The smart construction workers are called contractors.

The rest are idiots with hammers.

a serious amount of nonsense being said here, most dont have a clue why it wont start, never heard such dumb things being suggested! no wonder people in the motor trade can charge what they want, sounds like most on here would not have a clue what was wrong with their car or how to go about diagnosing the fault

Stupid is as stupid does.

When someone asks you to diagnose a car online and the details they include are simply "my car started, then stopped"...you're going to get equally idiotic responses.

Is it fuel injected? Also either way, never hurts to change the fuel filter that could be the cause.

Not nearly enough info OP. Could be a number of things. If the car had been running fine before, a sudden stall with no restart could be electrical as mechanical parts usually give some warning and the car's computer will keep the car running even if some sensors are bad so long as it can deliver spark and fuel.

Your best bet is to have someone with a code reader get the car to tell you what is wrong first.

"God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787

There was once a time when a man could fix most anything
that was wrong with his car or truck, with a set of wrenches
and access to a junkyard..
I've pulled and replaced transmissions on the side of the road.
If it couldn't be fixed.. it wasn't worth fixing, anyway.

Nowadays, thanks to the tree-huggers and the geniuses
in DC, most cars are disposable; like most of the shit you buy.

Progress.

To a degree yeah, but thanks to technology they can squeeze 400+ HP out of a 4.6 L engine and still get 25 miles to a gallon...however, I know engineers and they are forced to design vehicles to be expensive and difficult to work on so that your average backyard mechanic can't...just like the appliances are engineered to be more expensive to be repaired than replaced...it's a game to keep them employed...if they built refrigerators to last 50+ years like GE did in the beginning, well, they would be out of business...

Okay guys more info:

It does not seem to be producing spark.
Fuel pump seems to be / is operational.

What could cause a car to stop running immediately and then not restart, unlikely a spark plug right because it has 6, so I am assuming the problem is deeper into the car that is above my auto engine intelligence.
