Some may ask, why do you need an "assualt rifle" or "high cap mag"? However, why do you need a 550 hp engine in a car when the speed limit is only 65mph (or 75mph)? A simple 100 hp or less motor would suffice... tards can't seem to wrap that around their tiny brains...

The correct answer to both is - BECAUSE I HAVE THE FREEDOM TO BUY THEM regardless of practicality!!!!! Its a merge between man and machine, flesh and steel. This has always intrigued men from the beginning of time. Skill sets to see how well you and machine can hit a target, feeling the power at your foot with a gas pedal, etc.

Exactly, even though some may see a product non practicle, it does not matter. I have the freedom and liberty to buy them. So for those anti-gun weenies, ask yourself, do you approve of a 500hp twin turbo engine in a sports car? If so why? The speed limit is only between 65-75 mph, anything greater and you are breaking the law. Should we ban 550hp motors, when we really only need perhaps sub 100hp engines to be "practicle" and "save lives"???

Here is another analogy... The second amendment is basically saying CAKE is LEGAL - ANY CAKE, which is a general. Here comes uncle sam and says, sure, cake is legal, but we will ban eggs and flour. Now tell me, how can "cake" be legal, if the ingredients to make it is not? Does no one see a problem here? Gun laws, in ANY form are unconstitutional. The general premise is: ALL GUNS ARE LEGAL - no matter what.

When the "government" and the "police" and the (other) criminals give up their guns, maybe I'll consider giving up mine.

actually the comparison you are making i see from a different point of view than yours.

actually my current car is rated at around 475+hp. i dont go around speeding over the speed limit though.

however there is no limit set on how fast i can get to posted speed limit.

also sometimes i will go to the drag strip and run it just for fun.

with the gun its a semi automatic so it will shoot as fast as you can keep pulling the trigger. some people that go to the range to shoot like to be able to squeeze off as many rounds as they can as fast as they can just to see how accurate they are.
Wherever you go,there you are.

I have half a mind to head down to Washington and shit on the White House lawn.

Brick Top: Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible cunt... me.

I agree with your perspective. I was basically painting an argument for the anti gun tards you ask why do you need high cap, well why do you need a massive hp engine?

clapping Good analogy! I was just thinking about this fact this morning when I saw a Mustang car commercial boasting like 600 HP or some shit.

Now for REAL nobody needs this, unless your last name is Andretti that is....

What you are saying is the EXACT same argument legal gun owners are saying as well.

So just because someone's AR-15 is "capable" of certain things DOES NOT mean EVERYONE does it.

Plain and simple and you said it yourself, Thanks!
