I worked for Warner Bros and Paramount for close to 30 years, and I have worked around Tom Cruise many times. Not only is he NOT gay, he is homophobic.

On the other hand, I have also worked around John Travolta several times and I witnessed him with a gay man in a car at the studio. Back in the 1990's Travolta went to gay bath houses for casual sex. John Travolta is without question a gay man who hides his true sexual identity so he can continue to receive very lucrative film offers.

Nothing wrong with either of them in my opinion. Live and let live I say.

One other thing, Tom Cruise is a psycho-control freak. At Paramount he demanded that studio execs send out a notice to anyone on the studio lot when Cruise was working there to never look at him, say "hello" and touching him even by accident was grounds for employment termination and criminal assault. He is a strange man.

Whether he is or isn't,he is NOT the man to play REACHER!!! I have read and loved every single book in the 'Reacher' series and I can tell you,Jack Reacher is awesome! However...he is 6'5" tall and weighs 250#. Tommy is what? Maybe 5'7" and 140#. I am boycotting the damn movie and suggest you all do the same. If you want a really good read,choose any of the BOOKS in the series by Lee Child.
