Re: HOW MANY HERE TRULY BELIEVE IN LIBERTY?
What I like is Piers Morgan and others acting like humans have evolved past guns and violence. Unless some great awakening happened that science is not aware of we have the same intelligence of those in the past. The difference is not we carry cell phones and watch tv and care less if we are all slaves to our government. Is easy to have a pop gun reaction when events happen. If we all take a step back and use our brains we will see the the people controlling things have the same intelligence as those that controlled things in the past. The are capable of the same destruction, genocide, and violence that every country in the past has shown. The difference is they have way more dangerous weapons. We have not evolved at all, in fact evolution is a slow process and takes millions of years. Our culture is the only thing evolving. If you look at how culture has evolved its even more alarming. We live in violent culture where war is still looming at every corner, video games are based around violence, porn at every corner, violent sports, and gambling. The point I am trying to make is I believe it is more important than any other time in history to have a way to defend yourself. We live in a violent world like it or not. I suppose its the world we all created where we expect everyone to get along so we throw different ethnic and religious groups together and say "get along or else". We are an advanced ape. We still have animalistic thoughts and actions. Don't tell me we evolved beyond guns.

Our government has two jobs ONLY - to protect the country and to balance the budget. They are doing neither.
 Quoting: black calx

There is another job they have, that they are not doing, nor do they care about doing, which is:

Protect our freedoms from enemies both foreign and domestic.
 Quoting: *HEISENBERG*

That's our military's job and I was asking about that yesterday. Where is the line drawn in the sand? When we're all getting body cavity searches for the hell of it in public like those two women we read about yesterday? Bill Clinton gets impeachment proceedings because of a cigar and this clown is still in office after committing treason from day one?

Watch "The Money Masters" and read "The Creature From Jekyll Island" by G. Edward Griffin to unveil the true enemy.

"Live Free or Die" was not meant to be the motto of the Free Shit Army!

I believe in Liberty but do not believe we have it.

A couple of Thomas Jefferson quote's.

On Shay's rebellion.
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. It is it's natural manure.

More on Shay's rebellion
Yet where does this anarchy exist? Where did it ever exist, except in the single instance of Massachusetts? And can history produce an instance of rebellion so honourably conducted? I say nothing of it's motives. They were founded in ignorance, not wickedness. God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. We have had 13. states independent 11. years. There has been one rebellion. That comes to one rebellion in a century & a half for each state. What country before ever existed a century & half without a rebellion? & what country can preserve it's liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms
I may just kill You for fun.
Or it may be just business.

I believe in law also. To have true liberty, we must uphold the law.

I think we have too many laws right now though.

What part of the list in the OP do you think invites anarchy?

If I was afraid to exercise my right to speak out, I would lose my right to keep and bear arms.

An intelligent specie doesn't need semi-automatic guns. 1 in 10,000 that dies every year for being "free" is a hefty price. And on top of everything, the USA is the least free country in the Western world.

About time you guys put the Bill of Rights in the trash can. This is 2012. The far West era is over since a long time.

Brave Heart didn't need a bow and arrow, sword or ax because Britain knew they could not rape and murder them at will if they were armed. William Wallace had to use deer antlers and his bare hands to claw their way back to freedom.

Take you european stupidity and shove it up your arse, your ignorance of history will get you killed.

I hear they are swarming your country also right now with filthy muzzies and God knows what, soon now very soon you will pray that you could own a gun.

Sometimes I'm on as an A/C, but long ago I realized how important it is for me to log in when I express sentiment like this.

It is important not to hide in fear when we claim our rights. Just letting it be known, not foolishly to internet stalkers, but to the PTB, (who of course can find out who posts what anytime they want) is part of how or liberty and power as a people are maintained.
