I believe in true liberty. I also believe the constitution should be adhered to as signed in 1787 and the Bill of Rights as ratified in 1791.

Today's federal government is the exact opposite of what was envisioned when it was formed. The majority of uninformed, ambivalent, and flat out stupid people today have no idea of what real liberty is, what they have lost, and why it was so important.

What I like is Piers Morgan and others acting like humans have evolved past guns and violence. Unless some great awakening happened that science is not aware of we have the same intelligence of those in the past. The difference is not we carry cell phones and watch tv and care less if we are all slaves to our government. Is easy to have a pop gun reaction when events happen. If we all take a step back and use our brains we will see the the people controlling things have the same intelligence as those that controlled things in the past. The are capable of the same destruction, genocide, and violence that every country in the past has shown. The difference is they have way more dangerous weapons. We have not evolved at all, in fact evolution is a slow process and takes millions of years. Our culture is the only thing evolving. If you look at how culture has evolved its even more alarming. We live in violent culture where war is still looming at every corner, video games are based around violence, porn at every corner, violent sports, and gambling. The point I am trying to make is I believe it is more important than any other time in history to have a way to defend yourself. We live in a violent world like it or not. I suppose its the world we all created where we expect everyone to get along so we throw different ethnic and religious groups together and say "get along or else". We are an advanced ape. We still have animalistic thoughts and actions. Don't tell me we evolved beyond guns.
