If you believe in anything man-made you are a weak pathetic fool.

Believe in yourself.

That's all you have at the end of the day.

I'm not sure I entirely agree. I think most people are very willing to live and let live. Most people have a conscience. It's the ones who don't who drive and cause almost all the trouble in the world.

Re: HOW MANY HERE TRULY BELIEVE IN LIBERTY?
liberty ain't free.

as a libertarian, I pay a price every time I have to defend speech that I don't agree with, and may actually detest, from those that wish to limit its future use. I pay a price every time I am made to support "criminals" when the actions of the state violates the very same rights that I demand be applied to me.

how can I morally restrict the liberty, freedom, individuality of others and yet require that my liberty, freedom, and individuality be respected unquestioningly?

I may be many things, but I'm a slave to no man....

and I don't want anyone to be my slave, either.

What drives a man to a position where he can dictate how you live your life?
Or to take from you to give to another.Do you really think he does it for you.He does it to satisfy his need to control others.
It's not you or I that cause the troubles of the world. It is the ones on top the ones that feed the greed.(I knew who they where in high school should have kicked their asses then)
They call themselves our leaders.Hate to tell them.I do not need to be led I need to be represented.

This is what we have to realise first and then make them (the politicians) realise it too.

no aussie don't scratch it. It could spread to another region. You and your boyfriend need to go to the free clinic and get it checked immediately.

Re: HOW MANY HERE TRULY BELIEVE IN LIBERTY?
Liberty? do You know what liberty means?
You want to live under an anarchical system?

In the state of nature, liberty consists of being free from any superior power on Earth. People are not under the will or lawmaking authority of others but have only the law of nature for their rule. In political society, liberty consists of being under no other lawmaking power except that established by consent in the commonwealth. People are free from the dominion of any will or legal restraint apart from that enacted by their own constituted lawmaking power according to the trust put in it. Thus, freedom is not as Sir Robert Filmer defines it: ‘A liberty for everyone to do what he likes, to live as he pleases, and not to be tied by any laws.’ Freedom is constrained by laws in both the state of nature and political society. Freedom of nature is to be under no other restraint but the law of nature. Freedom of people under government is to be under no restraint apart from standing rules to live by that are common to everyone in the society and made by the lawmaking power established in it. Persons have a right or liberty to (1) follow their own will in all things that the law has not prohibited and (2) not be subject to the inconstant, uncertain, unknown, and arbitrary wills of others.” [1]

 Quoting: *HEISENBERG*

Greed is ever present. One of the most important things I've learned is to expect people to act in their own self interest. Which is one reason not to believe politicians who claim to be noble and selfless. They are lying.

Power over our lives is what they want, the more the better. And for some reason people love to give them what they want.

I still believe that psychopaths and related moral degenerates who gravitate to positions of power are the cause of nearly all the trouble in the world.

Normal people can't fight them because they can't see or believe it.
