Gun Insurance Mandate - I bet this is what they do...

Issue a Gun Insurance Mandate.. following the same system as the Health Insurance Mandate..

Already upheld by the Supreme court that the Fed's can tax you for any reason they see fit.. they can come up with a reason you need to pay a "Mandate" or "Insurance" to have a gun.. even thou you get nothing in return for this.. except maybe a Federal Licensed or Federal Registration. blah blah. Maybe even ID chips/sensors required on all guns.

It's such a perfect political solution.

The Insurance would have nothing to do with Gun Rights or affect the bill of rights... this wouldn't even touch that.

Since the Fed's can have insurance xchanges they can set up the price! They make the fine so great that people pay the insurance.. but they make the insurance high enough to make some people not to bother..

Now anybody, or any criminal found with un-Mandated guns is subject to fed jail time! Makes busting these guys so easy.. who cares what you did you have a illegal gun your going jail for 10 years. Never mind trying to solve the crime..

Increased Revenue = All Politicians Happy

Increased Gun Control = Libtards Happy

No Rites Violated = Makes it all okay.. after all we ALREADY gonna pay an insurance mandate for healthcare so it must be okay!

Watch it happen somehow like this. Many people will pay or give up their guns.

The Government would never get away with people turning the guns in.. they would have to do search and seizure.

This way they start tax off reasonable. Tag all new guns, tag a lot of current guns.. then in years ahead increase the tax rates.
