I think multi-culti works if different white cultures stick with other white cultures. I know, might sound pretty racist, especially from a german guy, but: for example, have you ever heard of danish riot in the UK, russians in Austria, czech in the Netherlands, norwegians in Poland, ...?

Also, in the early days and until it all mixed up to much, the US was a pretty good example for this thesis.
