My alma mater is not a community college, nor a state college. It is a private institution which has a demanding and rigorous education requirement- All students, regardless of specific area of study, must take four courses of foreign language, three theology courses, three philosophy courses, two mathematics courses, two Western Civilization courses, two courses in Chemistry and Biology, one course in Accounting, one course in Finance, one course in Marketing, in addition to required volunteer work before graduation.
