Personally, I view the body as a shell and would need to see it---in whatever state---to have closure.

I don't think I would be traumatized as I identified my brother after a traumatic car wreck and I was unfazed.

Yes, I am the mother to children.

NO WAY would I even BELIEVE my child was dead unless I SAW THE BODY.

In fact, that was what happened at the hospital when my brother died. I refused to believe that he was dead until they showed me the body.
