Thank you. I was beginning to think I was the only one. I seriously don't know how to explain the basics of stage work to the audience without them getting upset.

If by shill you mean reasonably sensible people who don't think everything bad that happens is some big fake government set up, and who are sympathetic to the victims and they're families, then yes, some of us are shills. And thankfully so.

Sorry but, if you two think this was staged and what you see in the Robbie Parker press conference clip is normal for an actual staged event, then both of you haven't the slightest clue about TV/film etc. So you can continue to high five each other for basically not knowing anything.

I'm so sorry to ruin the stage magic. I thought I was talking to adults that wanted to learn, not those that just wanted to keep seeing the show from innocent eyes. I really an truly sorry. I know it hurts. It's okay if you want to keep watching it from the view of the audience, really. It is.

No one can read cues anymore . It has been bred out of us in the last 50 years with the propaganda media, chemicals ingested on a daily basis from everywhere messing with our brains. We are taught to ignore our instincts and believe what anyone tells us even if our gut says no, there is something wrong.

Yeah, I was just talking about this thread and someone over here handed me a file on how to COINTEL a forum to explain the behavior we've been seeing on here. I already knew, but sometimes a little knowledge from outside sources helps.



edit: Coincidentally I also learned I was classic COINTEL'd during my more radical days before the internet lol. It's a a long way to find the truth.

You must be right, i know because i seen it on MSNBC.

I worked in tv, did a degree in communications (that's the media/film/jounalism degree), majored in scriptwriting. The general public would never behave nor express themselves in the 'scripted for news soundbites' way this guy did, they just don't perceive events that way.

You need those meds ASAP. You are not as smart as you think you are, quite frankly, you are the sheep, a GLP sheep that is.

And what other people can't see is that if this were an actor, he would've already been in character. Especially while he was in the field of view of video cameras during a live nationally broadcast press conference.

People also don't take into consideration the possibility of prescription sedatives/anti-anxiety meds these people may have been on to help cope with their sudden and tragic loss of their child.

If he was reading from something...it's called a "prepared statement." You should know that though, since you're a communications major, right? The purpose of a prepared statement is so that the person giving the press conference doesn't have to worry about speaking off the top of their head in front of live TV cameras.
