Eerie: Christian Radio Personality Frank Pastore Dies After Motorcycle Accident He Predicted
While at my friend's home today, I heard the following on the radio.

It is kind of eerie:

"At any minute I could be spread all over the 210," the host told his audience three hours before a car struck him as he rode his motorcycle on the 210 Freeway near Los Angeles."

Frank Pastore, a former Major League Baseball pitcher who became one of the nation’s most popular Christian-radio hosts, died Monday from complications from injuries he suffered in a motorcycle accident a month ago. He was 55.

Just three hours prior to his Nov. 19 accident, Pastore spoke of the dangers associated with his penchant for motorcycles. Radio station KKLA-FM Los Angeles on Monday posted a short announcement of its host’s death as well as audio of what it was calling Pastore’s “prophetic sound bite” from the day of the accident.

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task
the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20:24

Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him;
and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.

Frank Pastore, R.I.P.

Pastore was a second round draft pick by the Cincinnati Reds in 1975. He made his big league debut with the Reds in 1979 with his best season coming in 1980 when he went 13-7 with a respectable 3.27 ERA with 9 complete games.

A former atheist, Pastore began to embrace Christianity in 1984 after a Steve Sax line drive shattered his pitching elbow.

Re: Eerie: Christian Radio Personality Frank Pastore Dies After Motorcycle Accident He Predicted
Pastore was on his way home after the broadcast of "The Frank Pastore Show," his three-hour daily talk-radio program about social and political issues from a Christian perspective, when the accident occurred. He suffered major head injuries after his motorcycle was sideswiped by a car that swerved into the carpool lane of the 210 Freeway near Buena Vista Street in Duarte, said California Highway Patrol officials.

"Ps 116:15 reads, 'Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints.' Indeed, Frank is now beholding the face of the one he faithfully served, and knowing this is what gives all who loved him joy.

Have you ever done that, though?

Stopped yourself from talking about something bad happening, because you were afraid that by talking about it, it might come true.

What I mean is that..of late..whatever a person fears..or confesses..seems to be taking shape..sometimes within a month....other times within a week..and like this bloke..within hours.

Ive seen it hapenning in my own life..a few months ago I was dwelling on FEARS..what COULD go wrong..I made the mistake os SPEAKING it out..and sure enough...within a month of me saying it..what I said TOOK SHAPE.

So I turned it around..

Of late I have been VERY broke..struggling with cash..or lack of it...so I spoke WHAT I NEEDED out of my gob..instead of what I DIDNT HAVE..and sure enough..from unexpected sources the EXACT amount I NEEDED came to me.

It does not work with wants..ONLY needs.

He knew he was doing something dangerous and stupid, it's not out of the realm of possibility said stupid thing finally occurred.

It's a coincidence, nothing more.
