to be fair, I doublechecked and it's actually coming from a different town than where HAARP is located, albeit only a few hundred miles away.

It is still an odd anomaly. However, with it originating from a radar station, I could believe that this ONE is a glitch.

C'mon people, this has been going on for a couple years now. You are seeing coordinated microwave bursts from doppler radar installations which knock down or ramp up the humidity and moisture content of the area they pass over.

99% they go east to west, once in a while, you will see the narrow end of the 'dart' leading the way.

Why would that show up on the map?

My entire neighborhood is outside looking up at the sky - about an hour ago we started hearing loud booms. 6 or 7 large streaks came over and sounded like they hit the mountains. Sirens, car alarms and everything else was going off. My scanner is broke so no idea whats going on. Located on the SC/GA border.

I'm a big fan of meteor shower watching. But, I don't really want to see a bolide hit the Earth. As long as they stay high above us, I'm OK with that. lol

Ponder this: Could a group in ancient times knew of a cycle that the Earth or Solar System goes through and it could be counted on to return at regular intervals? It seems all their ancient landmarks, calendar systems and ancient writings were geared towards astronomical reckoning of time. I think they weren't obsessed with time per se, but instead were obsessed with a recurring cataclysmic event! Only accurate astronomical observing of the cyclic movements of objects in the heavens could predict it, since the timescales we're talking about here are extremely long.

My question would be is this current build-up of bolides a precursor to something even worse that the ancients experienced and tried to warn future generations about it?
