There are marine fossils at the foot of mount Everest.

Has nothing to do with water level.

Mount Everest was pushed up from sea level by plate tectonics.

Any good geologist will tell you that...

I don't think any published geologist would tell you that. And if you were to try and reproduce the calculations within the body of plate tectonic theory to model the uplift you would find the mechanics of the theory cannot provide enough energy for such an uplift.

Re: Marine fossils found 4000m above sea level in Peru: nice to see the sea high up there
The mountain range was formed when a large land mass broke off from Africa roughly 200 million years ago and was carried by plate tectonics across what is now the Indian Ocean.

When this land mass came close to Asia, it started to push up the land ahead of it, forming a large shallow ocean with rich ocean life.

The bones and shells of the plants and animals in this shallow ocean formed limestone and left fossils. As the land mass continued to plow north and collide with Asia, the ocean was slowly raised up and drained, eventually being lifted up to form the Himalayan Mountains.

Don't think of it as being that the water was above the land where the land is now. Think of it as land rising out of the water as the planet changed.

I'm no geologist but I'm pretty sure that there isn't a published, academically accepted theory in plate tectonics that could explain this discovery (and others like it).

Cataclysmic geology is always ridiculed by mainstream science since it flies in the face of a "comfortable" and slowly changing world we live in. All you need to do is look carefully at our world and discoveries like this to see that this world is anything but predictable and "safe".

That's so 19th century.

Why are those that hate science so ignorant of it?

Maybe because the main progenitors of the sacred halls of science (education) have intentionally dumbed down the masses in order to reduce the risk of exposure to their lies?

NZ only exists due to 2 plates crushing into each other. the result? a mountain range that runs down the middle of the country.

go figure.

Ah, now that is a question. Personally, I think the major mountain ranges were formed by cataclysmic events. In particular I think the major force or energy provided into the system as a catalyst for the changes were comets.

In particular comets that come very close to our earth or other planets. As the comet passes by its gravitational attraction grabs the crust of the earth and induces a wave in the crust similar to a wave in a body of water from an initial moment of imparted energy.

These waves traveled at hundreds of feet per second and included thousands of feet of the earth's crust. As the energy of the wave imparted decreased in amplitude corresponding to the passing of the comet, the waves attenuated and subsided leaving the mountain ranges we see today.

How is babby formed?

It is time we reject the 'scientific' lie about he reproduction of human life.

The ancients knew that on completion of the sexual union of man and woman, storks carried babby to his nesting place beneath the doting parents chimney.

When people start to accept this (and Jesus into their hearts) tragedies such as that at Sandy Hook may be avoided.

Think. Wake Up.

just watched the hobbit last night...

looks like pre-flood life was not glorifying God very well... ever made a painting and tore it up?

if giants were real and Tolkein did find this info encoded in language, maybe the other creatures he depicts were a part of preflood reality and a reset was necessary...
