don't forget to explain the grand canyon--no silt from erosion explains that either...

!

if you are so confident, man, just do the research yourself...

I started with health, then ufos, then new age, then counter-culture then counter to that and boiled it down....

bottom line is there is a reason the schools suck, 911 happened and we are slowly being enslaved by technological bureaucracy.... and it appears to me to be a supernatural agenda working through the elites...

once you wrap your head around that, the rest becomes obvious...

I don't think any published geologist would tell you that. And if you were to try and reproduce the calculations within the body of plate tectonic theory to model the uplift you would find the mechanics of the theory cannot provide enough energy for such an uplift.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 961432

So how do you think mountains are formed?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30568477

Ah, now that is a question. Personally, I think the major mountain ranges were formed by cataclysmic events. In particular I think the major force or energy provided into the system as a catalyst for the changes were comets.

In particular comets that come very close to our earth or other planets. As the comet passes by its gravitational attraction grabs the crust of the earth and induces a wave in the crust similar to a wave in a body of water from an initial moment of imparted energy.

These waves traveled at hundreds of feet per second and included thousands of feet of the earth's crust. As the energy of the wave imparted decreased in amplitude corresponding to the passing of the comet, the waves attenuated and subsided leaving the mountain ranges we see today.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 961432

LOL! Utter bsflag
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30568477

That is an immature point of contention, a baseless mocking or ridicule for my theory. You should, to maintain some modem of rationality, present an alternate explanation.

Mainly, an explanation as to where the energy comes from in plate tectonic theory to move thousands of feet of the earth's crust. Or from a simple mechanics perspective, how the earth's crust can withstand even a few hundred feet of displacement before that mass shears off and immediately releases the energy.

cities and schools, for example...

criminals will always have guns and the worst criminals tend to co-opt governments and kill millions doing it...

wherever you ban guns home invasions increase--thugs running into your house and stealing killing etc, goes up...

oh yes, the story in the bible about every last person on earth being drowned by God in a flood, except Noah and his wife and kids, is confirmed by all those cultures worldwide who experienced it.

Re: Marine fossils found 4000m above sea level in Peru: nice to see the sea high up there
research is your friend:

Diastrophism refers to deformation of the Earth's crust, and more especially to folding and faulting. Diastrophism can be considered part of geotectonics. Diastrophism comes from the Greek word meaning a twisting.

All processes that move, elevate or build up portions of the earth’s crust come under diastrophism. They include: (i) orogenic processes involving mountain building through severe folding and affecting long and narrow belts of the earth’s crust; (ii) epeirogenic processes involving uplift or warping of large parts of the earth’s crust; (iii) earthquakes involving local relatively minor movements; (iv) plate tectonics involving horizontal movements of crustal plates.

Diastrophism covers movement of solid (plastic) crust material, as opposed to movement of molten material which is covered by volcanism. Movement causes rock to be bent or broken. The most obvious evidence of disastrophic movement can be seen where sedimentary rocks have been bent, broken or tilted. Such non-horizontal strata provide visual proof of movement. Diastrophic movement can be classified as two types, folding and faulting, tilted beds usually are part of a larger syncline or anticline. Diastrophic movement is often called orogenic as it is associated with mountain building.

logic is your friend too...

at a rate of 4-5 feet or erosion every thousand years, times 200 million years, makes for absurd amounts of soil erosion...

the electric universe and electric discharge from other celestial bodies similar to static, explains some of this...

but you still have the supernatural to deal with, the ufo/abduction phenomenon and gene complexity, among just a few of the top considerations when trying to determine what is going on here...

the incredible intelligence of the design of genes and how science is beginning to say everything happened spontaneously... points to an intelligent Designer... and God.

I like how thousands of sea creatures migrated 4000 thousand meters above sea level and formed a rich ecosystem within 40 days and 40 nights of intense storm and tidal waves.

Proof of global flood?

That is because they are willingly ignorant of the Flood.
 Quoting: UnmannedAerialPilot

Not just that but mainstream science is all purposely designed to make everyone feel comfortable, more or less. The whole idea of evolution is that geologic changes occur very slowly over time (wind and rain erosion mostly with some earthquakes thrown in for good measure).

This makes people feel comfortable in their pens, the sheep must feel comfortable in their pen so they can continue their happy blissfully ignorant lives, portions of which are sheared off periodically to feed their masters.

Cataclysmic geology is always ridiculed by mainstream science since it flies in the face of a "comfortable" and slowly changing world we live in. All you need to do is look carefully at our world and discoveries like this to see that this world is anything but predictable and "safe".
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 961432

This is also the view that I take.. we live on a very dangerous planet and places like yellowstone could erupt anytime anyplace anywhere changing our lives forever and killing most of us off. I agree we are living in a false bubble of security in which most sheepie think nothing bad will happen in our lifetimes, that cataclysms will only happen in millions of years. TPTB cannot protect us all from these events..this is the truth.

TPTB ARE AWARE of the nearness of cataclysms and will have made their own escape routes should these events happen. TPTB do not really wants us all to be too acutely aware of natural imminent dangers as the world will not run as smoothly.

TPTB now do not like preppers as preppers alert the sheepie that danger is possible in our lifetime, maybe in the next year or two...

In 2010 there was a big whale graveyard foun 1000 Km inland and over a hill, in the Atacama Desert (Chile).

[link to latino.foxnews.com]

It's clear that Terra Firma is not so firma. Geologists still debate how these things happen, if slowly through the eons, or abruptly at well spaced intervals.

The indigenous (oral tradition) legends of how the very peculiar geography of the southern end of Chile had formed, point to a big event that happened overnight.

yeah, a global tidal wave is a feasible overnight event and is not so improbable being as the earth is over 70% seawater. Anything that makes the earth wobble can do this whether its a nearby flyby or an explosion in deeper space. These events do not happen every 780,000 years like we are told..
