This is something that has absolutely nothing to do with humans preconceived measurements of "time", as our "time" does not dictate the movement oftge heavens. Essentially, it happens when it happens, but the eclipse has been shown to occur sometime during the 21st FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE WORLD, not New Zealand's little irrelevant piece of land where nothing is ever applicable...
