with frapps though you will have to upload your vids to youtube channel for archive.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7631061

Plus my laptop is ancient and probably can't handle the processor overhead, let alone the hard drive space.
 Quoting: Dr. Astro

Eh, you are a amature astronomer and yet cant afford a proper laptop or desktop pc which a good 2tb hdd costs £78. Or you could buy a good external HDD with 4TB of space for £149.

Dunno about you but the 1st thing I would be doing with a good telescope is recording the planets on a daily basis.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30346541

Oh I do a lot of planetary recording, I just break it up into smaller files whenever possible and save it to my tb drive on my desktop over the wireless network.

Just got an email from justin.tv, they suspended my account. The email did not specify why, only a list of possible reasons why an account may be suspended.

Honestly I'm fed up. I'm done with these regular webcasting/streaming sites that don't understand or specialize in astronomy, period. I can be targeted on any one of them by a zetatard who reports my content as "inappropriate" or a "copyright violation" and they'll shut me down and ask questions later if I'm lucky. From now on it's night skies network or bust. There's no recording function which is why I've avoided it for things like this (plus the regulars there will not be too happy about a bunch of GLP'ers showing up), but I'll point my desktop at the site and record it separately.

For anyone wanting to mess about with space and learn that 'niberu' is complete BS. This is a great game/software which will show you how the universe works to our undestanding atm.

YouTube would probably be the same thing with them reporting you.

you can make your own site everything your own and this way no one can bust your ass for breaking web site rules..

and I dont even know why your video was marked for what videoing the sky space?
