The Zen monks decided to hold silent meditation for one whole week without saying a word.

Onthird wry first night, the wind blew out their candle and they were left in darkness.

"Oh no, the candle has gone out," said the first monk.
"You idiot, we weren't supposed to say anything!" said the second.
"I am the only one who hasn't spoken yet," said the third.
