Y2K was a bigger deal than the mayan calendar
Surviving Y2K was an ordeal. My 286 tried to eat me. I had to fend off Atari 2600s that came flying thru my window.

Lucky I was wearing my Air Jordans.

Comet Hale Bop was my big one. I got the wrong size shoes and was on my way to foot locker when the comet went by.

It is kind of true, people were genuinely afraid of that whole Y2K thing, I don't think many people believe this 12/21/12 garbage.

are we sure that thing is even a calender and not some sort of ornate ceiling rose?

Would look mighty dandy with some picked out cornice and chiffon curtains.

Re: Y2K was a bigger deal than the mayan calendar
the media hyped y2k and they are downplaying this 12/21/12, so yea it prolly was a test. Time will tell. I was in my teens for y2k. From my simple understanding they thought computers were going to shut down bc they saved space by putting dates in as 2 digits instead of 4. I always wondered why they couldnt test things by simply putting the dates forward on the calendar. If the media down plays it, it makes you wonder.

If Y2K happened again, we would be doomed.

Imagine, super fast computers with 8gbs of DDR3 RAM coming down your street, and now that our guns are being taken away... how will we survive?

At least with Y2K there was an actual, credible problem/threat that had to me mitigated in time. Not that chaos would have ensued, but there really was a problem that was, like, real. Unlike this Mayan nonsense. Even the Maans themselves are down there like "take it easy, morans, there is no apocalypse on Friday"

For Y2K we relocated, built a bunker and stocked it. For this we got a solar generator, solar panels and windmill generator just in case the grid goes down - which I am fully not expecting at this time. We figure it's all in gods hands anyway. Why worry?
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.

Maybe this is because people could understand what would be taken from them. Power, computers and banking. This Mayan thing is unknown, people don't know what to be afraid of.

I had read back then that $343 per person worldwide was spent fixing the glitch back then. Must have worked.

It was a very real problem and many businesses that didn't fix their computers went out...the only reason it wasn't a complete meltdown is because there was a huge investment in time and resources to recode software...

Actually y2k could have been worse is business and gooberments hadn't spent billions upgrading computing system around the wourld. While there was no immeadiate concern for your basic homeowner, there was substantial threat businesses.

This is very true at the time I worked for a large software company millions were spent by big business's upgrading their systems if this wasn't done there systems would of potentially shut down, it was never really going to effect anything in the home that was just hyped my media outlets

Don't eat your dogs when your food runs out, when your money is gone, when you're at war, when you have no guns, when you have to take a forced vaccine, when you have no NON-GMO food sources, when your religion is Evil, when every president you've ever had was part of the same blood line, when you're being sacrificed through poison and war as part of an ancient Satanic Ritual.....

Yea man....the atari....the computers.....10 years ago....the 100 year Federal Reserve contract is coming to an end...what would they do to keep it? coincidence...

Yea man...the last 10 years is all this is about.

This has nothing to do with every peak of human consciousness cycle from the beginning of time to the end of 26,000 year old cycles of change.

yea man.

Relax.

If nothing happens.

You can just burn in hell for all eternity. K. It's cool.

Yep.

ANd even then.

Someone forgetting that years double, does not indicate that we are approaching the end of a 26,000 year cycle and our oppressors are trying to destroy what they can't keep.

Right.

Your computer ran out of batteries.

"oh noe, plase halp me, someona, halp me."

You're entire civilization is on the verge of meltdown and coming to an end.
YOur medical system kills more than it safes.

Your criminal justice system protects more million dollar murders than it puts away.

Your political and media system, is literally ONLY capable of completely lying to your face.

You've never been considered anything other than cannon fodder.

And you're being poisoned as we speak by heavy metal, viri, bacteria and artificial food sources that cause cancer and disease.

All the money you've worked for was actually stolen from you by people who tricked your ancestors.

The government you work for/with, literally lied to you since your were born and has high technology/contracts with alien races to steal your bodies in exchange for weaponry or craft.

Everything you see is manipulated or created to put and keep you to sleep.

Anyone you see, like Andrew Breitbart speaks out, gets immediately executed and no one cares because they're brains are replaced by autonomous chemical processes and the fear secures them there. Like flies in a glass jar. Take the lid off and they won't fly away if they've been trapped for a while.

All your wars are lies, and all your - oh -fuck it. Just wait for nothing to happen and eat your dog and get killed by your neighbor when the time comes. 5a
