Quoting: final generation 13550425 Well... Maybe not... But there is something that make US a very special generation... First, we witnessed a change of Millenium in the Christian calendar. We witnessed the change from the Second Millenium to the Third Millenium. And now, 12 years later, we're being witnesses of a change of Mayan baktun. The Mayan baktuns last for nearly 400 years (396 years to be exact). Well, the generation who witnessed the change from the First Millenium to the Second Millenium (in the Christian calendar), didn't witness any change of Mayan baktun. The 11th Baktun (Baktun 10) started on 830 AD and lasted until 1224 AD. I'm pretty sure that nobody who was born before 830 AD was alive 170 years later to see the change of Millenium in 1000 AD And I'm pretty sure that nobody was born before 1000 AD, and witnessed the change of Millenium, was alive 224 years later to see the change in the Mayan baktun. So, we, as a generation, have a GREAT PRIVILEGE. We witnessed a change of Christian millenium, and now we're witnessing a change of Mayan baktun. We are probably THE FINAL GENERATION. Interesting fact and times. We are the final generation OP have no doubt. |
