There's so many it's hard to keep track sometimes.

Not any particular one, just seems to be a great way out of an argument from what I am seeing on a bunch of threads.

Lots of shill name-calling going on with discussion on sunrise/sunset times - particularly for anyone seeking ANY kind of concrete evidence (as opposed to "it seems late"...).

This is a mixed bag for me. I have been erroneously called a "shill," but I have also outed many bona fide shills.

Sometimes, a shill is just a shill!!

There are several correct uses of the term shill. For example:

1) Someone who merely parrots or paraphrases the Official Story without offering any further evidence.

2) Someone who asserts that any questioning of the Official Story is crazy, insulting, insensitive, unpatriotic, etc.

3) Someone who invents an explanation or justification for bureaucrats' statements or behavior (i.e., an elaboration of the Official Story) as if it closes the issue. In actuality, such a hypothesis is not an answer at all--it is merely another question to put to the bureaucrats.

Etc.

I honestly don't think there is that much shilling going on. The idea, of this website, is more to create a divisive and emotional charged environment. More emotion equals less logic and reason which equals no progress. This place is like the dark ages for political and spiritual dissident discourse. This is by design. Keep people afraid and angry and fighting amongst themselves and it's much easier to control them.

There are connotations..

A shill.. someone paid to debunk or promote an agenda.

To shill.. the act of shilling.. to behave and post in a shill-like manner.

People get confused.
