SO, considering that the Mayan calendar ends at the end of this year and other prophecies state similar things it stands to reason that major events will soon after take place. I myself have never said "the end" would be on any specific date (which is silly to assume) but that it signifies the time-frame. So after (undefined short time) this date as they say "all hell will break loose". We were 100% sure Jesus would return by 1988 based on Israel and 1948 and "this generation". We were 100% sure Jesus would return by 2007 based on Israel and 1967 and "this generation". We were 100% sure Jesus would return by 2012 based on your "jubilee theory". We do not know when Jesus is going to return. I remember a time when everyone was anxiously watching Jerusalem for the rebuilding of the Temple, because one thing is certain, the antichrist cannot appear until there IS a TEMPLE. We are not even close to Jesus return based on scriptural things that MUST be in place prior. If you believe that the rapture occurs, then seven years of tribulation, then the Second Coming at the Battle of Armageddon, we still are not close. There needs to be a WORLD GOVERNMENT. We are headed there, but it could take decades, if not generations to get there. There needs to be a rebuilt TEMPLE on the temple mount. Can you see this happening anytime soon? I hope miraculous things occur, and you are right. Doesn't look like it though, not at all. |

SO, considering that the Mayan calendar ends at the end of this year and other prophecies state similar things it stands to reason that major events will soon after take place. I myself have never said "the end" would be on any specific date (which is silly to assume) but that it signifies the time-frame. So after (undefined short time) this date as they say "all hell will break loose". We were 100% sure Jesus would return by 1988 based on Israel and 1948 and "this generation". We were 100% sure Jesus would return by 2007 based on Israel and 1967 and "this generation". We were 100% sure Jesus would return by 2012 based on your "jubilee theory". We do not know when Jesus is going to return. I remember a time when everyone was anxiously watching Jerusalem for the rebuilding of the Temple, because one thing is certain, the antichrist cannot appear until there IS a TEMPLE. We are not even close to Jesus return based on scriptural things that MUST be in place prior. If you believe that the rapture occurs, then seven years of tribulation, then the Second Coming at the Battle of Armageddon, we still are not close. There needs to be a WORLD GOVERNMENT. We are headed there, but it could take decades, if not generations to get there. There needs to be a rebuilt TEMPLE on the temple mount. Can you see this happening anytime soon? I hope miraculous things occur, and you are right. Doesn't look like it though, not at all. I know of nowhere in the bible that a physical temple must be rebuilt before Jesus returns. Also the bible does not say there needs to be a "world government" or a "7 year tribulation" etc. These are all misinterpretations of the bible.
