The last time I noticed, there are a multitude of modern day Christians who call themselves "spiritual Israel". Just this last week, one of the Seventh Day Adventist church's well-known evangelists was arrested in Germany for preaching "sedition" because he was teaching that modern-day Israel is NOT the fulfillment of prophecy, and that modern-day Israel is spread throughout the world as Christians; doing that which the ancient nation of Israel did not--proclaiming the Messiah as Jesus Christ.

We, as Seventh Day Adventists, point out many that could very well be the modern-day fulfillment as "the synagogue of Satan". We believe that fully 98% of all true Israel is spread throughout denominations as "witnesses" and that angels will spur them to "come out of her my people" and join in the last-day movement to fully keep all the requirements of a Holy God to be a "Holy People". I know of no other church on earth who openly show that their own organization will experience apostasy in the last days along with ALL other organized religions. This is not to say that we will be classed as "Babylon" (which some in the "reformed" breakaway churches are now professing that we are), but that a "shaking" and a "sifting" will occur when trials and tribulations fall in earnest. A "pure" church will emerge which we believe will keep ALL the laws of God. MANY make the Sabbath THE issue, but the Sabbath is, in reality, the FINAL isssue as this is the very point in the Law of God that is being dismissed by most of the world's organizations as "law done away with".

This is, of course, not to say that the NATION Israel does not have a part in all of this. As has been pointed out in many different threads over the years, there IS a "CABAL" who seeks to "fulfill the vision" and BRING ABOUT what the prophecies proclaim. We believe that Rome is at the center of it, although MANY of God's true believers are there to witness it all and stand with God's people who are fervently waiting for the Lord's return. We cannot judge one from the other except by what the WORD teaches, and no amount of pomp and circumstance can lure us away from the truth of the matter. Jesus IS coming and he WILL have a people all over the earth who "make their robes white in the Blood of the Lamb". The END will not come no matter how many "precessions of the equinoxes" occur. Contrary to what most believe, it is not "nations and kings" nor religious entities which will bring on the end. It is the people of God, themselves, who will usher in the end and "cut it short in righteousness". It is not about Israel the nation, it is about Israel the people--the "living stones".
