It ain't to protect your children. Give it a couple years, and the next massacre will be an armed teacher.

So what will happen after that? Bureaucrats will start passing draconian laws just like the PATRIOT act aimed at protecting your children from the teachers. Armed guards and security checkpoints at every school. They'll use this opportunity to crack down on "disciplinary" problems too. Your school will be turned into an indoctrination camp that is under martial law all in the name of protecting your children. They'll be sure to cover the hospitals and everything else as well while they are at it. Wouldn't want any "soft targets" where your children can get hurt.

What comes next? Because if you say, "why not take the guns away from the teachers?" they will just start screaming at you that you are unamerican and don't support your constitutional rights guaranteed to you by the second amendment.

They are using you. They are using your belief you have freedom and rights by leveraging your rights in such a way that they make you believe they are protecting them, when in actuality, they are are just using them to trap you and make you a prisoner. This is just another step towards total control of you all.

The problem with Ft. Hood is that most on base ARE NOT armed. Seems "gun control" is in full force on our bases. Soldiers are not permitted to carry on base unless they're on patrol.

That stupid regulation cost a lot of lives.
