You know, now that I think about it, it doesn't surprise me that the Australians and British have been disarmed.

Judging by their blatant inability to think and use logic, I believe their governments had absolutely no doubt that their citizenry could not, under any circumstances, handle firearms.

My hat goes off to the wise government officials in Australia and in the UK.

It's fairly obvious criminals prefer "soft" (unarmed) targets ie: "Gun-Free Zones."

As far as I'm concerned, anyone against arming teachers and staff is obviously a bloodthirsty lunatic.

What I like about the 'secretly' arm teachers part is this: a potential shooter won't know who is armed and who isn't. It's perfect.

Train and arm willing teachers and school staff. Then, change out those blood-soaked "Gun Free Zone" signs with "WARNING: This School Has Armed Personnel on Premises".

You OBVIOUSLY do not know the facts, Canucktard. Other than military police, NONE of the soldiers had ACCESS to firearms at the time of the attack.

Not only is this information available to anyone who spends a few minutes investigating, but I had a friend who was stationed there at the time, and HIS story confirms the facts.

Please... Do just a LITTLE bit of research before making an ass out of yourself.

Yeah... There isn't a snowball's chance in hell that some burnt out teacher who has had enough and just snaps would open fire on a bunch of students. I mean, teachers have NEVER snapped and assaulted students before. Not a single teacher has EVER had to be committed or take a leave of absence after having a mental or emotional breakdown.

What will the solution be then? Arm the students?

Besides, there was a good chance there would have been well-armed and well-trained law enforcement in that area or on school grounds, and that didn't stop him. I'd love to see what some poorly trained teacher with a tiny handgun that probably wouldn't put down a perp without emptying the whole clip would do against a heavily armed perp in body armor who has the element of surprise.

You know after all the shootings that have happened in areas where no guns are allowed you would expect the goverment to start placing some trained/armed police men or security guards but nope they never think about that, the only thing they think about is taking the guns away from the people while having there own armed security guards guarding them 24/7, damn hypocrites.
