This bothers me: Why isn't Peter Lanza acknowledging his own son, in death?
The bodies of Nancy Lanza and Adam Lanza are unclaimed at the morgue. Apparently, some out of state relatives have finally claimed Nancy's body and she'll be buried in New Hampshire. What kind of family is this? Why did Nancy's family in N.H. waits so long, and why is it her relatives in Illinois who're making the arrangements? For that matter why didn't her ex-husband do the right thing and claim both their bodies and arrange for a proper burial? I find this bizarre. Peter Lanza apparently is disowning his own son in death. Regardless of what his son did, he still shouldn't disown him in death. His son was probably seriously mentally ill. This is not an excuse for the terrible things her did, but but you should still acknowledge your own son and family, at least in death.

Sounds like a cold guy to me, and I'm no bleeding heart myself, but if it were my son, even in a divorce situation, I'd have unhesitatingly claimed his body and made arraignments for his burial or cremation. If my ex-wife's family had not already done so, I'd certainly claim and make arrangement's for her body, also.

Nancy Lanzas mothers body has now been claimed by out of state family heard it on CNN. With that said it also bothers me about his father that is his child if it was my child I would not have a funeral but I would at least give him a resting place. From the outside appears each parent had a favorite son. My heart breaks for all involved and I feel Nancy Lanza should be counted as a victim she was...she was shot in her sleep never had a chance.

if he wasn't spending time with his son
while he was alive
why would he give a shit when he died ?

the guy is a prick
an 'all about me' prick
a self centred egotistic prick

he is behaving to form
and i doubt he is even feeling the appropriate guilt
for his own part in the killings

more like annoyance that he is being associated with his troubled and now dead son

it's bothering but sadly , not surprising

pricks are what they are
and do what they do
because they are pricks

Is there any part of the Sandy Hook shooting that conforms to normalcy?

Instead of answers, more research leads to more things that don't add up.

Is this still the case? Did Adam's body get buried?
Someone once suggested that Adam didn't exist and it was he brother who actually was there.

Well, hell. Some people just deal with grief and get on with their lives super duper quickly! I guess he's the founding member of that club and doesn't want to cramp his style!

Or he gave no fucks about Adam even before Adam embarrassed him this way.

Maybe the body in the morgue isn't really his son. tomato

They reckon his body was claimed by his father.
